Safety is the fundamental responsibility of a structural engineer. Using BIM makes our designs easier to understand for all stakeholders, including structural engineers. We believe better information leads to safer design outcomes.
Additionally, adopting BIM opens up many more use cases that improve the value of our designs.
Re-use of BIM models opens up years of downstream value.
Yes. For customers with sufficient volume, we will agree a recurring reporting cycle (e.g.
weekly/monthly) to allow for full visibility of project progress.
We will always strive to re-use as much of the existing structure as possible and minimise/eliminate outages to existing equipment. We understand that the most sustainable solution is to re-use and re-furbish existing structures whenever possible. We also understand that swapping out an existing structure and/or lowering existing antennas is almost never the right solution.

Allied is independently audited twice a year. One audit is against quality, and another is against BIM.
A pile is typically a cylindrical concrete column, that transfers axial load to underlying soil.
Allied can design and certify concrete piles. However, often piling contractors prefer to certify pile themselves based on specified performance criteria. Allied can work to either arrangement.
